M Adris, trading as MyShaadiSong, is a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Our contact details appear at the end of these terms.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when a consumer orders a personalised song through myshaadisong.co.uk. Please read them before submitting and paying for an order. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.
2. Our service
We create personalised digital wedding songs from the names, memories, preferences and other information supplied by the customer. The package descriptions, included revisions and current prices are shown on our website.
Our creative process may use human direction together with digital and AI-assisted music or lyric-production tools. Because the work is creative, artistic choices and the exact sound remain matters of reasonable creative judgement. We do not promise that a track will be identical to a named artist, copyrighted song or reference track.
3. Placing an order
To order, the customer submits the song brief and completes payment through Stripe. A contract is formed when payment has been received and we accept the order. We may decline an order where it is unlawful, abusive, technically impracticable, infringes another person's rights or cannot reasonably be completed; if so, we will refund the payment.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate names, spellings, dates and instructions.
- Only submit content the customer has the right and permission to use.
- Do not request unlawful, hateful, defamatory, infringing or harmful content.
- Respond promptly if we need clarification. Delays in receiving information may delay delivery.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in pounds sterling and are the total prices charged by MyShaadiSong unless the checkout clearly states otherwise. MyShaadiSong is not currently VAT registered. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not receive or store full card details.
6. Delivery
We normally deliver the first completed version by email within 5–7 working days after cleared payment and receipt of all information reasonably needed to start. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed event deadline. Customers should order well before the wedding or event and tell us about any fixed date.
We are not responsible for delay caused by missing or incorrect information, late customer responses, events outside our reasonable control or email delivery problems, but we will keep the customer informed and act reasonably.
7. Revisions
The Sweet Story package does not include a discretionary revision; Our Love Song includes one revision; Wedding Special includes two revisions. Revision requests must be made within seven days of delivery and stay within the original brief. A revision is a reasonable adjustment, not a completely new song, style or story. Additional or out-of-scope work may require a new fee agreed in advance.
If the digital content does not match the agreed description or is faulty, statutory remedies apply regardless of the package's discretionary revision allowance.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Our service is personalised and begins at the customer's express request after payment. Cancellation and refund rights are explained in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Permission to use the finished song
Once full payment is received, the customer receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the delivered song at their wedding and private celebrations, in personal wedding videos and on personal, non-commercial social-media accounts. The customer may not resell, sublicense, commercially exploit or claim authorship of the production without written permission.
To the extent permitted by law, MyShaadiSong retains its rights and interests in the production, arrangement, working files, templates and production methods. AI-assisted elements may not qualify for exclusive copyright protection in every jurisdiction, and we cannot guarantee absolute exclusivity or that no unrelated work will contain similar musical elements.
10. Publicity
We will not publish a customer's story or finished song as a sample or use it in marketing without separate permission. Permission may be withdrawn for future use by contacting us, although this may not remove material already lawfully published or shared.
11. Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for unforeseeable loss, business losses suffered by a consumer, venue or platform restrictions, or third-party editing and use after delivery. Nothing excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights.
12. Complaints
Please contact us promptly and explain the problem. We will investigate fairly and aim to respond within five working days. We prefer to resolve concerns directly and this does not prevent the customer from using any legal remedy available to them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A consumer may bring proceedings in the courts applicable to where they live where consumer law permits.
